Implement a successful trade show booth for Fusion Tech at Process Expo

Fusion Tech Integrated, Inc is a custom metal fabrication company located in Roseville, Illinois. I worked alongside the team to plan and implement a their first trade show booth at Process Expo, the nation’s largest food processing trade show.

The project included:

  • Reserving booth space
  • Designing all graphic components of the booth
  • Developing booth layout / placement of equipment
  • Arranging all shipping / unloading of equipment
  • Designing catalogs and fliers for all equipment and services
  • Setting schedule for all employees
  • Training employees on use of Lead Capturing software
  • Setting trade show goals / steps to reach those goals
  • Arranging all check-ins and hotel rooms
  • Hosting After Dark party in the booth
  • Purchasing all necessary services, such as forklift rental

The project also included all pre-show marketing, including:

  • Weekly blog posts about the show (read those here)
  • Writing guest blog post on the trade show website (read it here)
  • Weekly social media blasts using the #ProcessExpo hashtag
  • Email blasts to all company contacts
  • Email signature design to incorporate trade show information and links
  • Design of trade show webpage featuring all in-booth equipment
  • Design of pre-show postcard mailed to all relevant attendees
  • Procurement of a free aisle banner for the company

In the end, the booth brought in 130 solid leads for the company, many of which were already requesting quotes.
